It's alive! Alive!
We got into the airport and met Kerryn. She holds the distinction of being our first visitor from the old country. It was nice to see her, and we soon were on our way back to Swansea.
After dropping our bags off at home, we tried to get dinner from a few places before finally succeeding and having pizza on the bay.
Tuesday, I went into the lab, tried turning on my equipment and using it - it woked. It's alive! Alive! The rest of the day was spent testing and calibrating. Yay!
Wednesday, I showed it to PR and began designing some paraphenalia to go with after getting the go-ahead. After work I had Welsh class - it was hard work after a little break. I wasn't alone, either.
Thursday - I received my thesis examiner's report. A little work to fix up, but not much. I'm happy with the feedback and will try to knock off the changes quickly.
Friday, we got up early and drove to Dover...
My favourite procrastinations
The Head Heeb - Jonathan provides a balanced view on various Israeli and (former) colonial states in less developed regions of the world.
The Bladder - a sports satire site. Well worth a look.
